Graphic artist Shepard Fairey may have become a household name through his signature “Hope” posters for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, but Fairey’s latest collaborator is a rock legend rather than a political candidate. Fairey is reuniting creatively with Neil Young, who’s asked him to create paintings representing all 11 songs on his new Crazy Horse album, titled Americana.

About an hour into their set at New York’s Beacon Theatre last night (May 9), the Beach Boys hit their stride, like a surfer catching that big, juicy wave. Though the band’s members – who reunited for a new album and 50th anniversary tour this spring – are certainly not mounting surf boards anymore, they proved last night that when it comes to surf-rock, they’re still the kings.

Jerry Seinfeld is looking to make another return to television, this time with a “show about something.”
The anti-dentite is pitching a new show that will feature the comedian and his funny friends who share a passion for classic cars. The reality show is tentatively titled “Comics and Cars” and Seinfeld has been hinting that he has already begun shooting by teasing his Twitter followers with pictures of him with friends like “Seinfeld” co-creator Larry David, Alec Baldwin and Ricky Gervais.
